Over the weekend Kathy had her first legitimate day off in 14 years. The big question was how to spend the day, and all I knew was that the housework could wait till Sunday.
We packed an esky and headed off to the Sunshine Coast hinterland visiting the beautiful townships of Maleny and Montville.
As soon as we arrived my eyes and hands went into overdrive and I couldn’t get my camera out quick enough. This gorgeous Camellia tree was in full bloom and covered in bees.

After a day in the hinterland we ventured down to Mooloolaba beach and waited for the sun to set before heading off on the 165 km journey home and back to reality.
I hope your weekend was full of fun and adventure.
Remember to keep the camera handy.
